you are looking for an escapade away from city life or just wish to
admire the scenic views of nature, these Alibaug beaches are the best.
Ranging from the Nagaon beach where you can witness jet-skiing to the
quaint beaches like the Awas beaches here you can explore the one which
attracts you.
Apart from the basic activities, these stretches
of sand also cater to scuba diving, snorkeling, and more such amazing
yet once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Also, you can stroll along the
shimmery sands or just sit back and unwind in the tranquil setting they
offer.
1.Kashid Beach
Kashid beach is one of the less explored beaches on the Alibaug stretch. With sparkling sand and clear waters, this might be the spot your introspection needs. Or if that got too heavy, it’s pretty awesome for just a walk too. Ask the locals for details, as it’s not marked on Google maps.
LBB Tip: They've got water sports on this beach, like banana boats and the likes.
2.Varsoli Beach
This is the one bustling with tourist and is one of the most popular
beaches in Alibaug. Also serving as the naval base, this beach will
satisfy your greenery seeking soul. It also has a patch of rocks on the
coastline which makes for a good spot to relax and watch the sunset.
Being a lesser-known, smaller beach, it's quiet and secluded, so do pack
some water and snacks!
3.Akshi Beach
Located right next to Nagaon beach, Akshi beach’s location is a little
secluded which translates into a lesser number of humans. Clean waters,
clean beach and countless palm trees, this is an Instagram-worthy beach.
Also, here is where the local life is active and if you choose one of
the homestays on the beach to live in, where you can wake up to the
seagulls and the sound of waves. You can also get some classic beachside
grub here, think chana chaat, golas, and bhel puri.4.Korlai Beach
In the Indian-Portuguese town of Korlai is this beach which has a mix of
both white and black sand. The highlight of this place is the Korlai
Fort, located in the middle of the sea accessible through a bridge. A
nicely fortified fort, it has many spots where you sit to enjoy an
aerial view of the Arabian Sea. And while at it, we suggest you get that
iconic Dil Chahta Hai fort photo as well, since obviously the gang
didn't make it to Goa.
